Well my uncle bought an antenna off of ebay and guess what? Its composed of two slinky's, lol.
Believe it or not it does work. Im just curious as to how someone came to the conclusion, "Im gonna make an antenna out of two slinky's".

Any one else seen any strange antennas lately.

I have not seen any strange antennas but I do have several homebrews. They at my folks place 4 hours away cause I live in an Apt and well antenna restrictions suck. Anyhow I have a 3 element 10m antenna, a 4 element 6m antenna, a 2m 440 dual band J-Pole, a 440 quaggie, a homebrew 10m vertical with 4 extended radials a modified version of the hustler btv6, it covers 40, 20, 80, 15, and 10. All homebrew. Someday I will get em up here when I get a house with a few acres of land!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smiley

The slinky is something else.  One of us needs to post a pic of it for those who havent seen it.
