Hello all

Just bought a used IC-725 as my first HF rig and would like to know your opinions about this radio. Dont have an antenna so I havent been able to get on the air yet. Should have an MFJ G5RV early next week.

I am currently a Tech class but am studying for my General so right now I can only operate on 10 meters.

Hello,
well I have never used a 725, but I have used a 730, 736, and 736.
They are all good radios so I dont know why this would not be.
Good luck on your upgrade and hope to hear you on the air.
