Just wondering how you all program your radios.
I do it the old fashion way without this programing software crap.
Cant see spending money on software that I dont need.  Huh?

My response is "what software?"...I have a Yeasu FT101zd boatanchor.Pre-CAT anything! My opinion ... manual control is the way....less to go wrong.I'm not against software controlled Amateur Radio hardware, but I love the hands on control of radio! Grin

I'm continually amazed by stories of Hams crying about having to send their hot to trot computerized whatzis back to a factory repair facility to change a light bulb! I do my own repairs on my Yaesu boatanchor because it's easy to do.Old equipment again in my experience preserves my enjoyment in the barebones operation of easy to fix electronics.Although I'd love to own a Yaesu FT-2000,could I fix it if it needed repairs?...too much to take apart and maybe hopeless to put it back together again....  Sad
