Two of the programs I use are Echolink and CQ100. Mainly because I dont have any "real" gear atm due to financial reasons and also I live in an apt complex and yep you guessed, not antennas of any kind. So I have opt'd to use software based "rigs" till I can get real gear. Try them out, I enjoy them.

Well Ill have to work on getting echo link up and running on the local repeater so I can put a voice with your call sign.

That would be cool. We can also connect on echolink direct. User to user. Still feeling a bit under the weather but when I get to feeling better Ill compile a list of nodes I have on my LT now and we can try and connect on one of them. Suposed to snow here tonight which is probably why Ive been feeling like crap since Saturday. Change of weather is crazy here. Last week was in the high 70's low 80's. Now we are barely reaching 50 during the day and below freezing at night...

Where I live in Ca is right below the snow line. About 2000 ft in elevation. & miles up hiway 50 in Camino they get get snow and if it snows there, there is an awfully good chance we will get it too!!!!!! The kids love it!!!!!!!!
