How much power do you run.

So I was wondering what kind of power you all run.
I started out running bare foot (100w) and still do at times.
However I also run an amp at around 1kw.
But now Im getting interested in qrp.
I guess you do what ever you can to renew the excitement, lol.

As of right now, 5W. All I have is an HT but some time in the distant feature I will have me an IC7000. From there probably only 50 of the 100W. Reason being, if I can be heard on just 50W then that is plenty. :p

I run either 100W or 5W depending on my mood and what the propagation is like.

I'm just a barefoot 100 watt type of guy.Sometimes I think of what it would be like to run a little bit of extra power into the atmosphere but my wallet and less importantly,my electrical system would'nt be able to keep up with my dreams.I'm making contacts... i'm happy with what i've got Grin
